Default Rear end creaking on reverse only

So as of the past few days, every time I reverse I get a creaking from the rear end, almost like a door creaking sound.

Any ideas on what this could be? Thanks!

If it's creaking it could be almost anything from your softtop, hardtop, suspension etc....

Need more specifics on the location of the creak.

Location of the creak is lower rear end, and only when I am in reverse, for the entire time I'm moving

It's happening to me too... When I'm in reverse it makes this loud creaking noise.

I'd say the brakes are doing it. I have had a few cars with slightly sticky calipers do this when in reverse.

Is it after you let your e-brake down and go in reverse?

I had the same creaking sound, but in both forward and reverse. When I put heavy load on the drivetrain either forward or reverse, I would get creaking from the rear. It didn't happen all the time but it was getting more frequent and louder over time. I took it to the dealer and they replaced a couple axle nuts and greased them all up. It has been 3 weeks now and still no creaking.
