Default Rear end guru's, help please.

Alright, well the time has come. My Rear end grenaded.

I'm in a bind. I need my car but I hate the Stock S2000 rear end. The thing grenaded so easy. I've never been this disappointed in honda. Ever. But, what can ya do?

I've seen people use 300zx rear ends. But, I don't want to buy the inline pro kit. Has anyone done this without buying their kit?

Thanks. and I know I'd need the kit, but I was seeing if anyone has done a DIY yet.

Are you sure it's the diff, Mike?

Honestly, you're the first person I know locally that has had a diff(if it is) call it quits. A lot of people complain about how the diffs are so horrible, but they're really not.

i think you already know all the answer to your question.

we can't make that decision for you, we don't know what the goal of the car.

you don't need a nissan diff if you are using your car to go to shopping on sunday and you don't want another oem diff if you are going to shoot for 600 whp.

same goes for the inline pro kit, if you don't want to buy it then you should ask yourself how comfortable are you with custom building/fab skill.

sorry there is no cheap solution for your problem
