Morning all...

Wondered if anyone could help me. Took the S2k (1999 AP1 - import) for a drive last night and all was well until I filled up.

Jumped back in after filling up at Gloria refused to start (sounded almost Like the battery was dead despite everything working). After 5 minutes of continual start pressing and many expletives, started fine and then ran spot on...

It's only happened once, so might be nothing. Worrying none-the-less, anyone have any ideas?

 

Perhaps, clean and tighten the battery contacts.

 

If it only happened once check the healthy of the battery. And as windhund says check the battery contacts. I had issues starting my car when hot, but they were easily reproducible. That turned out to be my starter.
