I want to relocate my battery tomorrow. What is the best way to go about connecting a longer wire? Do I cute the current wire and then connect a new one to it? If so, what should I use as a connector?

 

Don't cut anything! You need a battery terminal block so you can connect the old + wire to the new +. Should be available at local parts store. So you hook the old wire to the block, then run the new wire from the trunk through the firewall and hook it to the block. easy as pie.
