Buy a service manual, if you don't have one already. http://www.helminc.com/

It's all in there, in good detail. One hint that is not in the manual -- remove the seats first.

I didnt remove the seats and it was okay. (I am 5'7'' and I was able to fit in there. There are lots of little screws and bolts, make sure you allocate lots of time.

I was thinking of pulling an all nighter today because it seems as if Im not going to sleep well tonight.

Pop out the flood lights and start taking things apart. I have 2 days to put it back together : )

Yeah, but the seats are easy and it makes the rest of it easier.

I pulled it all apart in about four hours, following the service manual. I really recommend the manual, because there are a lot of little hidden screws that are not obvious to find.

According to the Manual 20-35 through 20-39

On Convertable top replacement 20-38
Theres 4 sets of different types of bolts, nuts, and clips.

What I think might be difficult will be the Right and Left corner gusset

It looks kinda confusing

Getting the top out of the car once I had everything completely detached. It's the only part of the task that is a two-person job. It's not outrageously heavy, but it's very awkward.

The corner gussets are easy, once you have removed all the trim.

Also, don't split the covers over the roll hoops! It seems like you should, but they don't go back together. Lots of people make that mistake. (I can't remember if taking the roll hoops out is part of the job or not, but I know I did it at the time so I think it probably was.)

It looks confusing, but if you carefully follow the instructions it turns out to be fine. There are a few places where it says to remove X, then you look up X and to remove X is says to remove Y, etc. But like I say, follow all the instructions and it does work out.

If it says to remove X but it doesn't seem like you should need to -- remove X anyway! There were a couple times when I didn't follow the instructions and then learned I should have.
