Default Removed Air Pump - No CEL?

I removed my air pump this weekend and for some reason I do not have a CEL coming on.

Hmm?

I have been wondering if removing it would cause a CEL also. I removed mine about a year ago but also have a test pipe that causes the CEL. I may fix the light to go off if the air pump doesn't cause it to come on if the notion strikes me. But most likely not b/c the light doesn't bother me.

Well, I did a few searches on it and everyone said that it caused their CEL to come on.

Give it a few more cold starts and wait, CEL is on the way. The tests the PCM performs to check the airpump require multiple failures before illuminating the CEL.
