Removed Head, No VTEC?

Removed Head, No VTEC?
I removed my head to replace my Headgasket and put the entire thing back together and now VTEC isn't working? I put it together twice because the first time the headgasket didnt crush properly. The first time I did so, VTEC was working and now its just not. The only thing I can think of that happened different is that that when removing the intake manifold there was a sensor still attached I was not aware of and it pulled the wiring out. As result the car would not start initally, when I reinserted the wiring into the plug, the car started right up so I am assuming that it is working properly. Does anyone have any ideas? I also have an AEM EMS so I can check any settings or info needed. Any ideas on this would be great because I genuinely dont know what to do. Thanks!

its a long shot, but ive heard of bits of a gasket getting into blocking the vtec solenoid... if you put the gasket in wrong it may have pinched a chunk off? just my .02 cents worth. But which sensor did you pull out? only a few sensors there

I will try to clean my VTEC solenoid When I get home. I also forgot to mention that My timing chain tensioner came out on the first drive. the car DID NOT jump timing, I was sure to check that as soon as I removed the valve cover.
This is the Sensor that I pulled the wires out of from the bottom.
(It is the one circled in red, not the map sensor in the guys hand)

I am usually really good about checking those because that's happened to me before, I will pull the valve cover and cams to check that tomorrow if I haven't found another solution. Does anyone know what that sensor is, or if it would affect VTEC? Also, how do you properly clean a VTEC solenoid?

Are you sure? I was not aware that there are 2 crank positioning sensors? The only one I am aware of is green, and screws into the side of the block on the driver side?
