Thumbs down Removing Intake Manifold

How do I remove the bottom half bolts on the intake manifold. Would it require me removing the alternator etc etc in order to make room from underneath. any suggestions would help. thanks

Roger

you need a 10mm 1/4 drive swivel socket attached to 2 6" long extentions. Come on from the front of the manifold, just before the black steel angle bracket. They are a biotch, but if you need, I can come help

...ummm...last time I checked, 1/4 was smaller than 3/8??

...and no, a 3/8 drive socket will not fit in there...

Removing the Alternator and Belt tensioner gives you lots more room to access the lower intake bolts.

10mm won't fit either. They are 12mm (the bolt heads)
