Default Removing soft top

I tried searching for it, and searched for it again before I posted this.

So here's the question.

Is there anywhere in this site that has a DYI on removing the soft top ? I got a HT and really doubt that I will go back to my soft top.

AGAIN if there is a thread on this already I didn't find it, sorry in advanced.

It's pretty easy if you have a general knowledge of tools and some patience. I suggest you have a friend help out too.

Basically you:

Remove the seats with 14mm and 17mm ratchet

Remove rear padding

Remove bolts that hold roll hoops but DO NOT remove the PLASTIC AROUND THE ROLL HOOPS. You will regret it in the end.

Remove clips from the soft top tray from BEHIND the seats and into the trunk. I found it easiest to remove the trunk carpet, spare tire and etc....

It's a bitch so be prepared.

it's take some time, but once you get to it, you can see everything there.

i doubt you'll need a DIY for that, just take it easy with the plastic panel, those push clip can cost you about 30 buck, i broke couple of mine and honda wants my ball for it

if your ever going to take the hard top off make sure to take off the driver and passenger seats... to make everything easy...

first timers usually take at least 3-5hours...

It seems hard but removing the top is the easiest part...putting a soft top back on is the pain in the ass part. I just changed out the soft top on my car last month. IMO more pain in the ass than changing a clutch on an integra which is kinda easy actually.
