I am replacing my driver's side HID bulb and basically know how to do it, but having trouble at the moment when putting the bulb and the socket back on.

What I have done:

-took the old bulb out
-put the new bulb onto the socket


I am stuck now after that, where I cannot put it back. It seems like it does not fit anywhere. Since, I cannot see inside, I dont' know where it should go. Anyone here replaced those and had trouble putting it back? Advise please? Very frustrating.

GOT IT!!, What a PITA. I just didn't have the spring out when putting on.

 

yep, you gotta undo the spring and pull it down and out of the way, then put the socket in, then put the spring back. it's hard to tell exactly what's going on in there until you can actually look at one and see how it works.
