Default replacing Bosch platinum spark plugs

Hey guys, new ap1 Honda s2000 owner here. I'm in a bit of a dilemma here. I ended up getting my Honda s2000 serviced which included a spark plug replacement.
However I noticed that the spark plugs that they used to replace were Bosch platinum spark plugs. I've only heard horror stories about these not working well with Hondas.
The car is running smooth, iv put on around 700 miles on it so far with these spark plugs. Is it worth replacing these spark plugs with the OEM Ngk spark plugs?

I'd leave them in. Change them only if you start getting misfires, difficult cold starts, or rough idling.

There are 20+ years of discussion regarding Bosch spark plugs. Unless your S2000 is special (and it isn't ) the plugs are probably fine.

Put this exact search in a Google search (not in a forum search) -- without the quotation marks, of course. Just copy and paste it:

"Bosch platinum spark plugs site:www.s2ki.com"

As long as the tightness ft-lbs are in range, you'll be fine,

Yes, go back and ask shop what torque spec they used. They're gonna say we always go by what book says. So then ask them if they don't mind looking it up again.

When they find out some know it alls on internet are worried they used outdated spec, they're gonna whine like little babies. Never trust idiots on internet, we're pros, been doing this for XX years, yada yada.

But if they used outdated spec, this could destroy your engine. Really.

Plugs come loose, causes misfires, misfires hammer plug and tip breaks off,tip rattles around inside cylinder, and in seconds your engine is toast. There is no fixing that. Its new engine time.

This exact scenario happened often enough that Honda updated the spec. So its not just what if. Its happened many times.

They're not gonna take this seriously, so you have to. Don't offer up correct spec, they're just gonna say yeah, that is what we used. You gotta ask what the source they use told them.

13 lb/ft is old spec, and its outdated. Not high enough.

Note that if they used this spec, the fix is first LOOSEN the plug, then torque to new spec.

If they just set wrench to new spec, try to tighten, its gonna click and make it seem like its already at that setting. Its not. Hopefully mechanic understands a torque wrench only works when in motion. If it clicks but doesn't move, you learned almost nothing. They gotta loosen it first.

If during this experience you get any push back, you now know this isn't the shop you wanna work with. Find someone else.

Hmm it's like 1lb/ft of torque for every 10psi of compression seems to be a good rule of thumb.
