Default Replacing Differential Boot

There seems to be some bad mechanical work after I got my car back from the shop and as I was looking under the car, I noticed the differential boot is busted. A Honda dealership game me an estimate of ~$30 for the part and I was wondering how much labor would cost to replace the boot or if I could do it myself w/ some help w/o the need for big expensive machines.

I've never heard of a "differential boot" before. Are you by chance talking about the CV boot? If so, this requires taking that part of the half shaft apart to put on the new boot.

They have the boot installer that does not require the CV joint to be taken apart. its on ebay. it stretches the boot using 2 cones.
