reprogramming immbolizer?

Default reprogramming immbolizer?

how do i go about reprogramming the immbolizer, is this something only a dealership can do? ive tried reseting the ecu. no luck there. any input is helpful. if i can only get it done at the dealership, how much does it usually run? thanks in advance.

Only the dealership can do it. A new key runs a little over 100 dollars I believe. You can call for pricing though.

Why are you trying to reset it in the first place?

Programming Immobilizer keys has to be done at a dealer. Prices vary so you need to call your local dealer.

The 1 million $$$$ question is why do you need to reprogram them?

for some reason the "green key" on my cluster is blinkin like crazy. im sure thats the immbolizer acting up?

well the car ran fine but the auto tensioner was acting up. replaced that and the immbolizer went nuts.. im lost here.

Make sure you are using a programmed key. If the green key light is flashing continuosly the key is not a recognized immobi key.

i tried usin all my master keys. i still get the same effect. i did try and have one of my friends from honda come by and try reprogramming it but no luck. i guess ima have to tow my car to a dealership tomorrow and take a hit in the wallet.
