Hey guys, i have a set of JDM headlights, that need a little T.L.C, so I'm going to open them up, repaint the housings, and then reseal them tomorrow...

any recommendations?

Should i open them, and then peel off absolutely all of the old glue, then reseal it with silicone, or should i leave the hold glue on?

I just don't want the re-seal to look ghetto, i want to get it as close to OEM as possible.

get any loose glue off you can and apply a bead of like ultra black permetex thicker and thinner where needed. then just follow the reasembly procedures as outlined in headlight diffuser diy.
