Default resetting VAFC to factory default?

I bought a slightly used VAFC. Does it reset to default/factory settings when it is disconnected from the car? Or does it have battery backup so I have to reset it to default in the settings somewhere?

It remembers its settings when power is disconnected. No need to worry.

Ah. I don't know of an easy way to reset everything at once. (Anyone? UL? RT?) You may have to go through and zero out all of them manually.

Just hit Initialize and it will reset everything. Remember that it must be set to 4cyl and 6 IN 6 OUT in the etc.

Did it come with an instruction manual? Follow the reset procedure, then set it up from scratch.
