I was doing a VA while the car is down for the winter. I pulled the injectors and rail so I have a good view of the retainers. I have 3 that look like this, but it could just be the angle I am looking from. Could someone (Billman cough cough) take a look?

 

Looks like one on the left has a crack ?

 

They look fine to me. The keepers don't appear to be sunken down at all.

 

They are all pics of the same one. Yeah after looking at pictures of bad ones I think they are good too

 

If they all look the same on each valve on your car then you should be good. Or they are all uniformally bad which is very unlikely!

 

It is always hard with the various angles and lighting, but none really stood way out, I would say the one pictured seemed the most off and I think it is just the way I am looking
