Hi, Have just recently finished my AP2 retainer up grade.

what I would like to know is from the slightly blurry picture below you can see that the cotters are not even ! ie there is not an equal gap between the 2 halves, am I over thinking this and are good to go or do I need to do anything different ?

I was thinking the same thing when I did mine. Then I looked more into it and found it was okay. Scaried me so bad though! It's amazing that such a little part is holding a $4000 engine together that revs to 9000rpms O_O
