Default Reused Head gasket, Compression Results.

Before i replaced my i replaced my my stock HG with a IP 3mm i had 240 psi on all cylinders. Just realizing after all these hours spent in my garage the past 2 days your not supposed to reuse head gaskets. Now I'm seeing 210,210,235,210.

Basically, DONT REUSE A HEAD GASKET.

I'm really sorry to say this buddy, but yea man thats one gasket you always should replace if you have the chance.

Sorry to be a dick, but that really really really blows.

Those numbers seem fine. The spread in numbers is what you need to look for, unless they're stupid low.

But yeah, NEVER reuse a head gasket.

Just checked the #'s again more precisely. They are 220,220,230,220. I don't know why but i feel like thats so terrible and i'm down like 20 hp or something.

I know alot of guys that would love those compression numbers. I wouldn't worry about as long as you know that you torqued it properly and had a good bead of hondabond. It probably set pretty good.

Of course your compression is lower with a 3mm head gasket. That's what it is designed for.

Just get it nicely tuned and enjoy it.
