My 05 has a lowered look as compared to others I have seen on the road. I purchased the car a few months ago and am wondering if the previous owner did any suspension mods. I measured from the bottom of the front lip to the ground and it measures 5.35 inches. What is the height of an absolutely stock one? The tires and rims are all factory sizes. I appreciate your input.

 

I don't know the measurement, but if you post a photo we'll likely be able to tell you.

You can also look under the rear of the car from behind the wheel, see if the springs are a different color.

 

Maybe you keep seeing ap1 and their 16 inch rims appear to make the car lower??
Like Eyal S2k said above just look at your springs if they are a bright color, or have logos on them than they are definitely aftermarket.

 

 

Thanks for all your advice. I finally got a peek inside the wheelwells..........WOW! Tein coilovers! I was just getting ready to purchase some............that'll save me some $$$$$. Now I can put that $$$ towards my supercharger.............Thanks again!

 

It sounds like you have coil overs.
