Robins 01 soft top

I've run into a snag in with my installation. I can't seem to get the top to get the dog ear tab to fit properly. The one supplied hole seems to be way off alignment. Does anyone have any suggestions?

pull it so it will align up, the top will be very tight for a bit so dont
let it down for a week or two so it has time to stretch out a bit
