Roll bar cover split - how to fix?

I got mine back together with JB weld black tape and a wet sponge.

mine have split too but theyre not anywhere near as to what yours are. I need to be looking into that solution as well.

i am thinking about just taking out the plastic covers...

I'd just remove the covers altogether. Without them, you'll just have the naked rollbars exposed, but I'd rather that that what you've got now.
