Isn't Rotora like the APC of brakes?

Actually, it's quite the opposite, I've had Rotora brakes before, they perform close to stoptechs.

not sure what APC means but after talking to a certain brake specialist the order of preferred brakes would be as follows:
1. brembo
2. rotora
3. stop tech
4. Wilwood....
Since Rotora is a Japanese product and I have not heard much about it I was curious as to know if anyone else know more than me........
Thanks

The rotora calipers are cast, not forged. They are flexier than the stoptechs. I would rank them about the same as the wilwoods. From my experience, they don't hold up to track abuse well, seals leak, etc. Plus, the pads are not a standard size.

They are definitely not up to the quality of stoptech or brembo.

So far these are my findings
1. Brembo - excellent
2. Stoptech - I am only aware of one member having these, Johns2k.... he rates them better than the wilwood he got.... primarily cause they do not leak.....
3. Rotora... slightly cheaper than the spottechs but performance wise, I have heard good nor bad about this product.... I tried to do a search on Honda-tech and google.... the users seem to like this product.
4. Wilwood.... lowest performer of all..... the OEM setup stop better than the 4 piston kit.... not sure about the 6 piston kit.... also report of leakage....

Anyone else care to contribute????

Stoptechs are fantastic brakes and their tech department is helpful and knowledgable (which isn't always the case)

a4sport,
This is the information I got..... After calling ROTORA themselves (after reading ur post), I found out that only certain components are made in Japan... He said most of the components are made here in the US...... if you know more please don't be afraid to share....not too concerned on where they were made, But what I am concerned about is their performance and reliability....
Thanks

I would put Stoptech in the league of Brembo. The caliper itself is a design marvel with several patents.
