I just changed out all my denso iridium plugs for new ones because one had cracked the center ceramic. Now the engine runs great at idle, but hesitates a little when you push on the gas and misses a little mostly in v tec.

Gapped plugs to about .044.

Any suggestions?

Maybe reset the ECU and see if it runs better, ignition coils bad? timing off??

What do you all think??

Are you using the Comptech ESM with your SC? If not, and you are using the check valve than that is more than likely your problem.

Which Iridium plugs did you get? 22? 24? I was running the stock replacement ones I believe 24(?) whatever is the hotter one and my car ran OK. I put stock plugs back in and it runs much better.

Oh yea, I forgot to add, I did have a coil wire come undone recently. It had to be resoldered in. However, if you have a bad coil I would assume it would throw a code and your check engine light would come on. that is what it did to me when my #3 coil was messed up.
