Default Rpm dropping below 1000rpm

My S is just sitting in my garage for the last 2 weeks and i start it up every few days due to lose of license. When engine is warm its on about 1000rpm with a slight rev and drops below 1000rpm about 800rpm. What's the problem and solution? This has just been happening, the car has not been driven at all only warmed up. Sometimes even dropping lower than 800rpm

My car last week died at every stops, I cleaned the idle throttle body opening wher the air filter tube connected to by spraying with the carb cleaner on a clean rag and the car is fine after that, don't bother to clean the IACV like everyone else said just waist your time, my 2 cents.

My AP2 normally idles at 800 rpm. Not sure there is a problem. It would be a good idea to clean the IAC but I don't think you have anyting serious going on unless there is something you are forgetting to mention.

The normal idle for this car is anywhere between 800 to 1000. There is NO problem. A solution need not be found. If you don't like the rpm to be dipping, then stop blipping the throttle for no good reason. If you do, then that's what happens. Sometimes, it will even go lower and in some cases, it will even die.

There is no problem but warming up the car like this without driving is foolish. Stop it at once. Either drive the car or don't start it.

What is a "baby rev motor"???
Don't coast with the clutch in for so long. Downshift as you slow down and keep the clutch up as long as possible - till the rpm is just below 1000rpm.
