RPMS go below 1K (Normal???)
When I'm decelarating at a stop light and come to a complete stop, my rpms go below 1k, which sort of causes a shake in the engine. Luckily the car does not stall though. Could this problem be caused by faulty spark plugs. I have about 46k miles and did the spark plug TSB at around 12k miles.
TIA.

Two things to try, and I'm surprised a veteran like you doesn't know this (no disrespect) but.......
1. MAP sensor whack. Where you take the handle of a screwdriver and give the MAP sensor a couple moderate whacks. Varied results.
2. ECU reset. Can be done by pulling the fuse in the kick panel, or battery pull. Although I removed my battery for another reason, when I reconnected it and started the car up, it has stopped dipping below 1K.
Give these a shot, since they are both pretty cheap fixes.

My car has always done this. I just figured it was a factory thing, never given me any problems like stalling so I just ignore it.
