Default running with O2 sensor removed?

Other than throwing a check engine light, will the car run fine at wide open throttle with the O2 sensor removed? I ask because I want to temporarily (an hour or so for VAFC tuning purposes) put in an inline wideband O2 sensor hooked to a computer(FJO) with out adding another bung. Thanks for the help.

Any more specific replies (not that I don't appreciate the first one)? Will the car run full strength at wide open throttle allowing me to tune a VAFC? Thanks.

Primary O2 = No, it should NOT run normally - at least not during normal driving (non-WOT). In popular theory at WOT it would run off the map not off the Primary O2 readings.

Secondary O2 - Yes, it will drive normally.

It will run like CRAP....the ECU falls into what is called "limp" mode which is a preset set of parameters that are there just to keep the engine running. Any engine load at WOT, or prolonged use WILL damage your engine.....

I dont even think VTEC will engage in "limp" mode

your choice...Good Luck
