Default S2000 '01 acceleration problem

Hello!
I have a problem with my S2000. When the engine warms up sometimes I feel that the car moves like I let the air conditioner. By 6000 I got the car going kuvstvoto less. This is not always, but it happens often!
I think the reason is that I bought a sports car with a filter, but I think it is a cheap and low quality - so it passes through more above

I dont understand what you're trying to say.

Also, it may or may not hurt anything, but I think you should try to get that little breather removed and reconnect it back to the intake.

I can bet the bank that your car is slower than a stock s2k with that intake setup.

You are losing big power by pulling in hot underhood air. I have proven this many times, many years ago,

dont understand everything the op said either
but i agree with what Billman250 said, that intake probaly draws in alot of hot air, personally go back to the stock airbox unless your investing in a good intake,

maybe the op could build a heat shield like the k & n intake or comptech intake for it.

Enclose the filter in a box or at least have a heat sheild. I'm sure this is causing the loss in power.

Also having a filter on the breather on the valve cover, does nothing for performance; gains or losses. The breather just sucks in air, nothing else
