Default S2000 coolant reservoir is empty within a week

I know my car is low on oil as I'm waiting for the oem filter to come in and change the oil then. Would low on oil cause my coolant to be empty in a week or is there a leak some where for example water pump leak? The temperature is normaly on the dash which is three bar and nothing higher. Check under the car no leakage or the water pump section. My other guess would be the radiator is starting to wear out since its 12 yrs and its a 2000 model?

You may have air in the system and it sucked it back in. Do a bleed and fill it properly. Next thing to check is for cracked hoses and loose connections. You'll see green/blue crust around loose connections. Look for cracks on the top of the radiator too. Get the car up to temp, and with a towel push on the front and back of the plastic top on the radiator. It may have hairline cracks. After that it's a pressure test of the cooling system, and then a compression and leakdown test to check for a bad headgagsket.

Check the radiator cap and it was fine. Found out what the problem is its the radiator the plactic piece is cracked when the car is heating up you can see the coolant is leaking slowly.

I got a Koyo-Rad for $189. They're decent oem spec aftermarket.

I'm gonna go with the Mishimoto Radiator since it will be money well spent vs oem radiator.

Not a bad choice. I just needed one immediately, and the local radiator warehouse had one. Make sure you follow billman's coolant bleeding procedure when you fill it back up. An air pocket would make for a sad face day. Good luck!
