Default S2000 cutting out when clutch is pressed in!

My s2000 has recently started cutting out when I press the clutch in, it looses all other revs then the battery light comes on.
Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea what this could be?

Have you checked the clutch fluid reservoir?

If you are sitting, engine running, in neutral, and press the clutch, does it die?

No it doesn't die if you sit in neutral it's more when shifting down

Hmm you sure it's not popping out of gear? Mine does that when the car is cold. My clutch M/C had a known leak and I'll replace that soon.

Sounds like your clutch assembly isn't separating properly.

It can still possibly be the oil control rings or valve guide seals. Yes ap1 does burn oil but a quart in 500-700 miles is a little much. My engine has 170k on it and it burns half a quart in 3500 miles. Granted I reringed it and did valve guide seals at 100k.
