S2000 Engine noise
Will appreciate any help!!! Really lost on what to do!
So in my previous post I said the engine sounded like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7galapsOo4
I was advised to get a Billman250 GenX TCT but unfortunately I had already ordered an OEM part and it was on 3 weeks backorder, it was slowly getting worse and I noticed the Oil light flick on for about a second while driving yesterday.
I checked the oil (as it had been serviced about 4000kms ago I did not check oil as they said they topped it up(I now know AP1's can burn oil faster than other cars)) It didn't even show on the dipstick and I thought the dipstick just wasnt catching it as I couldn't believe it'd be that low... but just to be safe I put some oil in and it showed some well below the L on the dipstick... I put in 2L and it managed to get to midway of H and L and the TCT noise faded. I am not sure whether the engine sounds unusual I'm afraid if I've ruined the engine. I will take it to a mechanic asap can anyone see if you can hear anything unusual (apart from the ticking which is the TCT I believe) as it must've run on absolute minimum for around 1000km.
TCT noise dissappeared when RPM was above idle, now it does not appear much at all (the video was taken today and I hope that sound is just the TCT not any knocking from rods or whatever) and yes I know very little about cars.
Here is the video taken about 20 minutes ago (After a 20 min drive) - http://youtu.be/7QFpJC-hLYA
I hope she's okay and thank you so much for any help!
