S2000 Half on Half off
About 30 minutes ago as my car was being loaded onto a semi transporter, with the rest of my stuff, the ramps slipped off as the car was half on. Now the car is sitting on the back of the trailer just behind the car's front jacking points and scrapping on the rear bumper on the road but the wheel are carrying the load. Entry into the trailer is about 2.5 - 3 ft above the roadway.
What should I have checked out once the car is "safely" at its new destination? I am most concerned with the amount of force that the car hit the frame. The fall was not that far for either the front or the rear but I want to make sure everything is checked out that needs to be.
The muffler tip is bent, Top Secret Ti, can't see if there is any more damage then that. The front aero piece was already split on the way up and 2 of my bronze CE28Ns were slightly scratched on the way down (scrapped the ramps side somehow).
Any help would be much appreciated.
Also, i am moving to the Memphis area if anyone knows a reputable shop.
Thanks for you time,
Konrad Jager

Do a general check of the underside up on a hoist. There is a plastic cover that shelters the channel that runs the length of the underside of the car. If this cover has been crushed, the tubes under it might also be crushed. Those are fuel lines and other conduits. Also check to make sure none of the rubber boots on the suspension or 1/2 shafts have been torn. You "under strakes" (those weird black mud flap looking things in front of each wheel) might be damaged too.

Thanks for the advise xviper. I'll get that checked first.
Update: The car has made it onto the trailer with the help of the Cusco Rollbar. They had to lift it using the rollbar then slid the car by backing up the tow truck. The damage to the rear bumper is less severe then it originally looked. The muffler will work but since the movers slightly crushed it they will be replacing it.
Thanks
Konrad

Make sure you get the insurance info for the transport company because they may try to jerk you around and take the cheapest way out of it. That is a bad sight man, made me cringe when the pics popped up. Doesn't look too bad really but still....
