Default S2000 harness

hi ...im using a the s2000 drive train and motor out of a 2001 and putting it into a british roadster.....i got a wiring harness that according to the part number on this harness its outta a 2000 model ONLY....there is one plug off this harness and it dont fit into the ECU.....did they change the harness for 2001?.....

I would swear they are the same. 2000-2005. I have done engines in all years and they were the same.

I have harnesses hanging here. Post a close-up pic of the connector in question.

u have 2 male plugs off the engine harness that plug into the ecu and a female blue plug also on the engine harness that plugs into the fuse box harness correct?.....is the 3rd male plug wich has the rmp signal that plugs into the ecu also found on the same fuse box harness?

i have a 2001 engine with ecu and the harness part# 32150-S2A-COO5 is for a 2000 model ONLY according to honda parts department and the plug on this harness that plugs into the ecu is a smaller plug and dont fit

should ad that the harnes i got did not come with the engine ...got it from some one else

sorry the fuse box harness did not come from the same car the engine came out of

is the cluster harness a seperate harness on its own?.....cause i have found the scymatic of the ecu and that port on the ecu contains the rpm signal....so would that plug be found on the cluster harness if there is one?

There was two dash harness. IIRC, the engine harness connector connects to dash harness A and the ECU connects to Dash harness B. Also these harness changed from model year to model year. So you will need them both from the same car, or hack you way through manually wiring the car.

What part of the world are you in? The US? You are going to see to order both the helms shop manual and Electronic Troubleshooting manual.

can i just buy from honda the the plug that plugs into the dash port on the ECU?
