Is the Honda S2000 compatible with the HKS Twin Spark DLI? I have seen it installed on an Acura RSX-S before, but was not sure if it works or even made any improvements on the S. I found a good deal on one and was wondering if i should buy.

thanks

I'm not shure but theS2000 coils has integrated ignition module's
at each coil. You need to verify this because if that true you cold fried the igniton coil's.

I highly doubt it is compatible. The S has a very different ignition system. It has a coil per plug and the coil sits directly on top of the plug.

I am under the assumption that the HKS DLI is for direct ignition systems. The person I am purchasing this from has a Nissan 240 SX with the SR20DET swap. Again, I have seen this installed on an Acura RSX type S before.

Still wondering whether this makes a difference or if its compatible.

Thanks.

No, it would not make a difference. It would be useless on our car if the stock ignition system is operating properly.
