Default s2000 immobilizer issue

Yesterday my S2000 decided to immobilize itself and now it won't start. Usually when I turn on the ignition a green key symbol appears and I just press the button on the fob to cancel this. I then hear the fuel pump and other stuff and I just press the start button. Now there is nothing happening. The engine turns over fine but won't start. One thing I did notice is that a few times the key symbol appeared and it was flashing really fast and there was a sound like a relay or something switching really fast in the dash. The immobilizer is the honda factory unit. Is there anything else I can try before I have to bring the car to a specialist? I'm in Ireland as well.

Sounds like you have an aftermarket installed immobilizer system, because otherwise you're not required to press any fob button...

Hey Carnage,

I know this thread is old, but I am having this issue now. How did you resolve it?

Cranks but wont run.
