Default S2000 overheating

I was driving back to college on the highway when a raccoon ran in front of me and made me spin off the road and crash. No major damage, just some cosmetic issues mainly, except that since it happened my car has been overheating. As long as I'm moving at a decent speed (normally 35+ mph) then it will stay at a normal temperature, but as soon as I come to a stop it slowly starts to get hotter until I start moving again. I have noticed that the radiator fans aren't turning on when I'm sitting at rest, but I can force them on by turning on the A/C. I'm not too sure where to start with fixing this problem and appreciate any input you guys have,
Thanks!
Nathan

Did the raccoon do damage to the car? Front or underneath?

Thanks!

No I swerved to miss it, which then made me spin off the highway. The only part of the car that hit the guard rail was the rear end.
