Default S2000 Service Manual

I just bought the S2000 service maual that supposedly the dealerships and mechanics use. I looked through it and it seams very detailed on how to service my car. I like to do my work hands on so I learn about my car instead of having someone else do it. Does anyone have any experience with this manual and wether or not I can or should do do this type of stuff on my own?

Those manuals are very good. If you have the knowledge and right tools I say go for it. Working on cars really isn't that difficult, its just taking the time to fully understand what you're doing and being very careful with your procedures.

If it is a Honda service manual it is going to assume you are able to do and understand some of the tests they will want you to do. So some automotive experience will probably help if not be needed. Basically im saying it isnt like a "Honda s2000 for dummies". I do wish you good luck for the future!

If you like to work with your hands and have started to do so with other cars, so like mentioned you have some experience, I believe that you can do almost anything that's in the manual. It sets everything out very well and can be very helpful with whatever you do.

It can be considered one of the holy grails for our cars.
