Unhappy S2000 starter electrical issues.

Hey all, my ignition button in my S doesnt turn over the engine at all. At first I thought it may have been the starter itself as the car was old and the gears had noticeable wear and tear. I replaced the starter and still... nothing. Okay, this must be electrical then? I moved onto the Engine Start switch and tested the contacts and found one was bad. One replaced Engine Start button later... still nothing. I'm kinda stumped here. The battery reads 12.4V. I got both the battery and old starter tested, both are good. Is there anywhere specific I should be checking for grounding issues or something?
Any help or ideas are appreciated! Thank you!

Clutch interlock switch is a common problem, check that first.
Here is circuit diagram for more help.

Thank you for your reply Flanders. Sorry I should've mentioned that I've tried bypassing the clutch interlock switch. The car behaves the same with and without the clutch interlock switch.

I'm currently at work but I will let you know when I get home around 9 CST. I have suspected the relay could be the culprit as well.

Plz confirm everything else works. Like dash lights up, horn honks, etc. Ruling out main 100A fuse.

Yes, the main fuse is fine. I’ve checked any fuses related to ignition and the ecu under the dash. The dash, horn, blinkers, etc all function but the car won’t turn over at all. I’ve started and driven the car 30 minutes off of a rolling stop and it runs great.

Check the starter cut relay.
I previously posted some instructions about it here and in the following posts

You can push start it? That helps a lot.

You mentioned battery voltage was only 12.4V. That is a bit low.

Thank you everyone for the helpful replies. I’m going to ohm out the starter cut relay and check the wire going from the ignition button to the board tomorrow before I go to work. I am sure it is the relay and not a break in the wire but anything is possible. I checked the voltage on the starter after I installed it, it gets 12V.
