Default S2000 techy quiz

I have found two factory American thread (7/16 20tpi) bolts in the s2k.

Can anyone say or guess where they are?

license plate mount?

I guess this because I would expect the correct answer to be something JDM uses different. Their plates are different size, so the mount is going to be different. Though 7/16 seems too large for license plate bolts.

License bolts are common 6mm x 1.0.

Not sure of valve stem threads, but that's not it.
