Default s2000 top leak

i have a 2000 S2000, when i had the soft top up and it rained hard, i would have a puddle in my passenger floorboard which got to be a hassle. i recently bought a real Mugen hardtop to try to stop this problem, but it rained hard tonight, and once again i have a puddle in my passenger floorboard, and now some in the driver side. what would cause this, i figured the soft top wasn't sealing properly, so i bought 2 new strikers and the clamps, but that didn't help. Any ideas on what it could be?

It likely isn't the roof area, it could be coming from around the base of the windshield and cowling area. I'd have the dealer look at it as they may know of some issues that could cause it. A leaky interior is about as bad as it gets IMO, worth having them look/fix it.

Maybe try going around the car with a hose to try and pinpoint where water is getting in?

In my last car, the sunroof drains were known to get clogged with debris, and as a result water would leak inot the passenger cabin. Maybe one of the rear drains is clogged and forcing water through?

check the a/c evap drain, in hot weather and a/c on, could defenatly cause water to coolect on the passenger floor especially if the evap drain tube came off.

I think the roof weatherstripping has a drain channel built into the side rubber mouldings which should drain away from the car, maybe some kind of drain has plugged up on yours causing it to leak.

Well its under the seat and in front of the trough. Could it possibly be leaking between the door and bottom of the glass?
