Default S2K Acceleration

Hey guys,

Today when I went for a bit of a spin, it really felt like the car wasn't accelerating as fast. There were no noticeable sounds, VTEC was kicking in fine, it still hit 9000 RPM etc. but it just didn't feel like it had the same torque.

I've had this a few times, where some days it just won't feel like it's performing and then it goes back to normal.

Is it my imagination or do you guys sometimes have the same thing?

Thanks!

-Adam

same here, some days it feels like on steroids and some days it feels like runnin' on 1 cylinder only...but it must be the temperature and air pressure that has the effect on the performance i guess

Getting warm down under, no? Try searches for "heat soak" and "hondata intake gasket".

built-up heat in the engine bay and ambient temps can attribute to lower performance.

Im pretty sure its normal as the ECU adjusts from time to time. Not trying to hi jack this thread but this seems to happen to me all the time,Everytime my Fuel bar is down to 3-4 bars..My car felt slower in full throttle as opposed to having a midway or full tank of gas ,with my RSX and EK Si or to most cars its always the opposite..

Just drove it then, which was night time (and much cooler) and I had the same weird thing. Yet, I drove it yesterday during the day at high temperatures and it drove great. So I'm not quite sure whether it's really in my head or if something's wrong.
