Default S2k block value

I come across a lot of these...i figure I would post up here where i give the most advice

what kind of value does a bare block hold? Block with matching lower cradle, good mains. completely stripped, no crank or anything. just the block, with a scuffed bore.

I'd be interested in one, depending on the price.

would definitely cut into downtime when getting sleeves in.

A brand new, good, bare block is $1570.

PM me a ballpark. Im not looking to spend alot, but, maybe we can figure something out.

Thanks!

Hang on to it, it'll be worth more in a month or so.

I have paid anywhere from 100 to 250 for a good bare block, though 250 is only in a pinch..

usually for $250 i'd expect a good crank with the block..

LMK what you have.. i need a good bare block.

I have bought probably 1 block/month for the last 6 months

+1 on the blocks going for only around $150. There is 2 for sale on here for around 250 but they come with the crank. If you have some you want to sale... from what it looks like some of us would like to make some tables out of them
