Default S2K Rattle (just changed tct) Pls Help!

My 2001 S2K has a weird rattle. Sounds like metal on metal , changed my old TCT with a ballade TCT recently so I know it's not the TCT. Very loud when a/c is on, but when car is hot it's always ticking.

The clutch has no effect on the rattle. Manually spun the fans to see if there was clearance issues or any noise but it seemed fine with no noise. Is it possible the radiator or condenser is loose or has a loose screw or something?

Please help!

Sound clips:

Very loud when a/c is on, but when car is hot it's always ticking. Sounds like coming from the engine. Valve adjustment maybe?

After TcT reinstall sound clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=faB1rkJYwkQ
Had to reinstall it making sure it was flush with engine before I put the screws on. Rotated crank manually until I could put the TcT with ease.

thanks guys. Sounds a lot better in person now. The sounds clips aren't too great.

Sound clip?

Where is the sound clip located or what does it look like?
Car is still new to me
He's asking to take a sound clip, or video that will allow us to hear the sound.

When you installed the tct, was it able to sit flush against the engine on its own, or did you draw it flush with the bolts?

Check your accessory belt tensioner. Its a common source of rattles. It sounds like a metallic clacking noise and can be made worse by operation of the AC.

You can "follow" the noise by looking closely at your tensioner while revving the car using the throttle lever in the engine bay.

I just had to buy one for mine. I got a gates brand on rockauto for $45 on closeout!
