Default S2K Vibrating?

Just installed AP2V2 wheels on my car... after around 70mph it start vibrating REAL bad.. to the point that I feel if I go higher I will lose control... (I have high experience driving RWD and 4WD cars, Isn't about experience) I have an AP1 with Eibach 1'' drop springs... thing is with the ap1 wheels I went up to 15xMPH and you couldnt even feel the road... it was smooth as f@#k... I went to AP2V2 and this problem started...

I have ap2v2 wheels with

215/45/R17 FRONT

245/40/R17 REAR

Did you try balancing the tires? Maybe the wheels are bent?

not bend... they were almost new..

Balancing tires had to be done for each car?

they were before on a RSX with spacers... and they were good... i'll have to look for lost weights... since these have sticky weights

what exactly is vibrating? vibrating in the steering wheel means the front wheels need to be balanced, and if your seat/car is vibrating, its best to check if your rear wheels need to be balanced.

i would get them rebalanced just in case and see if that solves the issue

another posibillity- The radials are coming loose in one or more of the tires. Have the shop check your tires before rebalancing.

Sounds like a balance issue, especially after 70mph. First though, check your tire pressures and make sure they looked properly mounted (i.e., the tires are facing the correct direction, easy mistake). If that checks out, then get them rebalanced (should cost you less than $50 to do so if there is no TPMS). Report back after that if there is still a problem.

Good luck!

Check the mounting surfaces on the wheel and hub. Any rust or other grime could be causing the wheel to not sit flush against the hub, even if you've torqued the lug nuts to spec. This will cause the problems you've described.

If only vibrating when full throttle then it's most likely CV joints.
run it to 70mph and then neutralize the car, if it doesn't vibrate, go full throttle, if you feel the vibration, it's diff or CV joints for sure
most likely CV joints
