sand blasting TCT

Default sand blasting TCT

hey guys im doin the DIY for the TCT but i cant find a 5mm bolt 50-70mm long .80 pitch. anyone know if any of the bolts existing on the car would work? or where i can find one of these? i called home depot and lowes, both dnt have it, longest they have is 25mm.

have you got a specialized fastener shop in your area, check the yellow pages for fastener shops.

Yep, Ace Hardware tends to have the metric fasteners that Home Depot/Lowes don't have.

thanks guys found the bolt and sand blasted it, just about to put it all back together....be back in a few mins with final results !

duno just did it all, seems to be a tad quieter but it wasnt bad to begin with, i guess im just nuts. my car seems to make a rapid tick sound but i just adjusted the valves and now sandblasted the tct, its deff a bit quieter but i still here that tick. Im begining to wonder if im just nuts lol! i do have the cruise controll removed which leaves a small hole in the firewall, maybe thats why it seems so loud.

May just be your injectors you are hearing if all above work has been done.

My car ticks too, and people are calling me crazy as well. I suppose Im just paranoid, because my last car blew its engine.
