Default Scaring me.

hey guys i really dont know alot of this stuff but my car has been giving me trouble.. all the sudden it doesnt want to go in 3rd 4th and sometimes 5th. and then when i was about to pull up my driveway it didnt want to go into first.. anyone know/experience this?..

Clutch might not be dis-engaging fully, check your clutch fluid level first.

i checked it, its fine. is there such thing as a "air bubble" or something in the line. my friends said they have had that issue

Could be a bubble but wouldn't that effect all gears?

And check for leaks on the master and slave.

Bleed/change the clutch fluid, grease the shift lever, replace the trans fluid. All that stuff is in the FAQ. Do all that and see if it improves.

I had a similar issue, it could be caused by rusted splines on the input shaft of your transmission. On early cars these shafts were often under-lubed from the factory leading to difficult shifting when they become rusted.

Only downside is you have to drop the tranny in order to grease the shaft.
