scored cylinder wall
Hey everyone, I have a block with a pretty bad cylinder wall in the #4 cylinder. My question is, how bad can the scoring be to get it 1) honed and be fine or 2) bored .020 over and not sleeve the block. I want to avoid sleeving at all costs due to it being so pricey. I have found another block that I am supposed to go look at today and see if I am interested. So is there any basic rules for being able to hone out the score marks or bore them out at .020 over? Also any good shops in MD that can bore and hone a FRM block? I know inline pro is in DC but thats 2 hours away I want to stay somewhere closer to Baltimore anyone let me know thanks!
