Seafaom!
i have used this product in all of my passed cars. i usually put a third in the gas tank, a third in the crank case, and a third of the bottle through the vaccume line in the intake mani. followed up by oil change and new spark plugs exactly a week after puring in the seafoam. i think i have always seen great results and loved the way the car performed after and saw increase in gas milage. however, i have heard the horror stories of spent engine seals and loss of compression in motors after using seafoam. not sure what i believe now because of some trashtalk about the stuff... and also wondering if it would react differently to the higher reving f20 than the h22 in my prelude.
So, has anyone used seafoam in their s2k? what method was it used? results- praises? or horror stories?

just something to think about:
so seafoam suppose to be strong enough to take out carbon deposite in high temp combustion camber, soft and general enough to not melt the sock in the gas tank and all the fuel line yet it can be used as a luberication?
might as well ask a fortune teller about the vtec cross over point
on the serious note, alot of car mfg has their version of top engine cleaner, which they use in the service department. you can get honda's version of the cleaner for 8 buck i think. used it once and it was very very strong.
and that's will not void your warranty unlike the snake oil mystery blend

With that in mind, think about what the product is designed to do.
When Sea Foam was introduced, fuel was poorly regulated and came with few detergents (fuel system and intake deposits). Additionally, most of the motor oils available were rather volatile, which further added to deposit problems and sludge. Sea foam was designed to combat these problems.
Now let
I've used seafoam about a couple of months ago, but only on the intake manifold. Didn't use it on the gas or the oil (for the same reasons mentioned in prev posts)...after doing it on the intake manifold, throttle response was MUCH smoother and felt a lil more power .. its hard to describe but the sound seems "cleaner" when stepping on it and when you also release the gas (its more noticeable on mine since I have a single and a straight pipe) -- I would recommend it, but only for the intake, just a lil too nervous putting it in the oil or the gastank. I put chevron for the gas, I leave the oil as is.
^ Yes, it's techron. I like the valvoline fuel system treatment. Either that or Lucas. I use Lucas every oil change and Valvoline when I feel it's necessary because it has many more additives than Lucas.

I personally only use mobil1 premium fuel, mobil1 full syn oil, and a bottle of techron fuel additive every 5,000 miles. the techron may indeed be a waste of money, but getting the best additive (according to this site) for only $6, it makes me feel better about myself
I second the pass on any other snake oils. Nothing but false hope according to the journals i've spent countless hours reading on this site.
