Default Seal Break?

I was looking at my S today and noticed that the seals around the window, where the convertible top lays, looks like the glue is comming off..

Does anybody know if this is normal? I don't think so..

Also did anyone else have this problem... ??

To see it I had to push a little on the stripping and I saw it was becoming unglued...

I may be wrong, but I didn't think it was glued; I thought it snapped in place. Are you talking about the front windshield or the side (door) glass?

I believe we are talking about the rubber seal on the windshield which mates with the top. I have noticed the same issue on my car. I thought about applying some sealant but just haven't taken the time. I am interested in feedback on this as well.

Could you all post a picture of the affected area in question? I'm guessing that you are talking about the contact point between the rubber seal and the convertible top. I haven't noticed anything like that on my car. I would first have a look at another S2k and talk to the dealer if nobody else had this problem.

That sounds like a good enough excuse to have an S2000 meet!

I will try to post a picture soon.

But you are correct it is the seal between the top and the windshield. If you give it a slight push back towards the trunk, I have noticed it looks unglued or cracked, however you want to look at it.

I was also going to apply some sealer to it but I wanted to see if anyone else has this issue.

Also I don't want the dealer doing it because they will probably have sealer all over my car..

Let's see if anyone else has this..
