Default Secondary o2 sensor

So I was throwing P0137 and P0138 codes the other day. Asked the dealer for a price for the o2 sensor, and it was outrageous. Also, they didn't have it in stock and couldn't get it for several days. Autozone, NAPA, Advanced, and OReily didn't have one and they were all in the $180-230 price range. I decided to look it up on RockAuto and found an NTK o2 sensor for $64!!! Not only that, but it said they were the OEM manufacturer. It showed up yesterday and it is absolutely identical to the OEM sensor on my 07. Here is the kicked, notice that the tip is completely gone from OEM sensor when I pulled it. I've never seen that happen. Glad it was the downstream sensor.

This fixed my ap1, code p0141. Amazon open box return FTW. Also, the tip breaks generally because the core of the catalyst has dislodged and now rattles around. This is my second sensor in 12 months.

cinaibur, be sure you use a spark plug spacer on your new o2 sensor, or it will be broken in no time.

The reason the tip broke off yours is because the cat media is broken loose inside the cat.

The spacer will protect the new o2.

you might be losing some power since the broken honeycomb could be restricting air flow.
