Does anybody know if u can eliminate that sensor? It has 1 connector goin to it and it has 2 vaccum lines that run right under the fuel rail.

Thats the air sensor if I'm correct. I think I ask my tech professor once about it and he stated that removing it will mess with the flow of oxygen to the throttle. Its been 3 years so I could be wrong

It's the solenoid that controls the secondary air injection system. If you still have the OEM ecu you still need it. If not, you don't.

If you still have the OEM ecu you still need it AND THE VACUUM LINES. If not, you don't.

I use a piggy back (EMU) and removed all the lines, and there's no issues. The pump runs as normal, but doesn't blow air anywhere except right out the pump. No CEL or anything.
